Manchester United Squashed MLS All-Star (28 July 2010)

Manchester United wrapped a big win in their third friendly game in U.S. tour. Facing the MLS All Stars, The Red Devils finished with a win 5-2.

This victory seemed to be a nice revenge for the bad results on previous match. Four days ago, Manutd squad lost to Kansas City Wizards  by a thin score 1-2.

The match took place at Reliant Stadium, Houston on Wednesday (28/7/2010). The ManUtd started the match with a nice kicked off . The result was a goal from Federico Macheda in the first minutes of the game.

Ten minutes later, the Italian young striker returned to score his second. The score stayed 2-0 for ManUtd until the first half ended.

Although the Red Devil showed a superior game, Brian Ching from the MLS All Stars managed to create their first goal on 62nd minutes. But ManUtd immediately responded with their third goals, by Darron Gibson on 69th minutes.

Tom Cleverley enlarge the score difference to 4-1 for MU in a few minutes after their third, and Javier Hernandez Balcazar wrapped the last goal in 82 minutes. 5-1 to ManUth.

The MLS tried to save their face by adding their second goal, in just one minute before the game ended. Dwayne De Rosario closed the match with 2 – 5 for the MLS All-Star.

This was Manchester United’s third victory from all four matches against US team.  The Red Devils recorded (3-1) win over Celtic, and  Philadelphia Union (1-0), but lost over Kansas City Wizards (1-2).

ManUtd is still having 2 more match ahead, against CD Guadalajara and the League of Ireland XI before return to England and facing Chelsea in the Community Shield competition.
